AN INVITATION TO REFLECT

We talk of our wild voices in every issue of THE LYNX. And we ask for your thoughts on wilderness/ wildness-- why is wilderness important to you, not some third person account, why does wilderness strike your chord? We have tried to pursue a discussion of the spirit/ mystery of wilderness--again not what the literature says, but what sings in your heart. We have looked in ourselves for a reflection on the very context of environmentalism-- is it relevant and why, why do we struggle if it is so right? Why do the High Uintas matter?

We believe the answers are in our voices and we sincerely invite you to share your voice. Share your 500-1,000 word observation, essay, poem or story at our contact page. Or just let us know you have something and we'll get you our email address. We look forward to it!

This month’s REFLECTION is by HUPC board member and LYNX editor Margaret Pettis. She lives in Hyrum
